Cristina Pineros

Cristina is a Board-Certified Art Therapist and licensed professional counselor. She holds a Masters in Fine Arts and a Masters in Counseling Psychology with Art Therapy Specialization. She has extensive experience working as a counselor and art therapist with children, adolescents, families and groups from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. She obtained a grant called “Motivations to Change”, which allowed a group of adolescents to utilize art as a vehicle for their expression and an inspiration towards a more positive future.

When she moved to Florida, Cristina started leading art therapy groups, as part of a wellness program, bringing up her knowledge and experience to teachers, school staff and administrators, allowing people to find their voice and express it through art therapy.  Cristina believes that art making provides people with personal growth and fulfillment by promoting awareness of their thoughts, feelings and emotions.
