Turmeric Lemonade
Ingredients
- Turmeric Root ( do not peel turmeric, just wash and grate) - 2 Tbs
- Fresh Ginger - 1 Tsp
- Boiling Water - 3 Cups
- Salt - Pinch
- Raw Honey - 2 Tbs
- Lemon Or Lime Juice - 1/2 Cup
Instructions
- Place the turmeric and ginger in a pot, add the boiling water and a pinch of
salt, let it steep, uncovered for 10 minutes - Add the honey and let it cool
- Transfer to a pitcher and add the lemon juice
- Taste and adjust the taste as you wish by adding more lemon or honey
- Keep in the refrigerator
